 SMS Organizer & Reminders ("we", "our", or "the App") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and safeguard your information when you use our Android application.

1. Information We Access

The App requires the following permissions to function:

• SMS (Read, Send, Receive): To read, organize, categorize, and display your text messages. The App also needs SMS permission to send messages and detect incoming messages in real time.
• Contacts: To display contact names and photos alongside your messages.
• Notifications: To alert you about new messages, scheduled messages, and bill reminders.
• Phone: To identify your SIM cards for dual-SIM filtering and to enable call functionality from the chat screen.

2. How We Use Your Information

All message processing happens entirely on your device. We use your data solely to:

• Categorize messages into Personal, Transactions, and Promotions
• Track expenses by parsing transaction SMS
• Display message analytics and statistics
• Detect and set smart reminders from your messages (flights, trains, appointments)
• Provide quick reply templates and scheduled messaging
• Enable message search, starring, and archiving

3. Data Storage

Your messages are stored by the Android operating system in the standard SMS database. The App reads from this database and does not create a separate copy of your messages. App preferences, reminders, forwarding rules, and quick reply templates are stored locally on your device using Android SharedPreferences.

4. Data Sharing

We do not sell, share, or transmit your personal data, messages, or contacts to any third party.

The App uses the following third-party services for app functionality only (not for data collection):

• Google Firebase Analytics: Collects anonymous usage statistics (app opens, screen views) to help us improve the App. No message content or personal data is sent.
• Google Firebase Crashlytics: Collects anonymous crash reports to help us fix bugs. No message content or personal data is included in crash reports.
• Google Firebase Cloud Messaging: Used to deliver push notifications. No message content is transmitted.

5. Data Security

All your data remains on your device. We do not operate any servers that store your personal information. The App does not have any cloud backup, sync, or data export functionality that transmits data over the internet.

6. SMS Forwarding

If you enable the SMS forwarding feature, messages matching your configured rules will be forwarded to the phone number you specify. This forwarding is performed locally on your device using the standard Android SMS sending mechanism. We do not have access to your forwarding rules or forwarded messages.

7. Children's Privacy

The App is not directed at children under the age of 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13.

8. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Any changes will be reflected by updating the "Last updated" date at the top of this page. We encourage you to review this Privacy Policy periodically.

9. Your Rights

Since all data is stored locally on your device, you have full control over your data at all times. You can:

• Revoke any permission from Android Settings
• Clear app data from Android Settings to remove all app preferences
• Uninstall the App to remove all app-related data
